To whom it may concern,
My mother passed away quietly on October 25th of this year. She was 81 years old and had lived a very full and wonderful life. She is survived by myself and my sister. My sister and I are the sole beneficiaries of her estate and we began looking for some one that could administer an estate sale. The first two estate sale providers we interviewed seemed very ambiguous and less than forthcoming.
Several days passed until I finally found and contacted Bob Herrington by phone. My initial impression of Herrington was favorable. He was very confident in a quiet reserved manner and was able to answer my questions about an estate sale competently and without hesitation.
After signing his contract agreement to handle the sale, I was impressed by his immediate ability to take complete control of all facets of the estate sale. Herrington established a date for the sale and was timely in all activities surrounding it. Telephone communications were made on time and to the point…
The estate sale was an outstanding success. Bob Herrington had plenty of workers to help him and managed, over three days, to sell 65-70 percent of a huge collection of antiques, furniture, books, clothing, glassware, lamps, and more antiques. I was and am very pleased with his performance. He seems to be very honest and straightforward, and after the sale, he arranged for a charity organization to pick up many of the remaining items and to provide me with tax receipts. I would highly recommend Bob Herrington to anyone needing help with an estate sale.

Dear Bob,
A great big thank you from the staff at Encino Gardens. We try to keep a couple of wheelchairs handy for our residents to borrow when they go to and from the doctors. (Or when an injury or illness occurs.) The wheelchair was greatly appreciated by our residents who are in need of a chair now and then.

Late this year I found myself in a quandary. My mother had passed away two years before and we had been waiting for her estate to clear probate. I received notification that everything was legally cleared and began the deliberation on what to do with her considerable household of belongings. I was so overwhelmed with the sheer quantity of things that I found myself doing nothing to even make a dent in how to find a plan for everything. In desperation I called a local antique shop and they referred me to Bob Herrington. What a blessing!
From the first day we met, Bob put my mind at ease and respectfully offered suggestions for what needed to be done. He listened to my concerns and dealt with each and every one of them in a manner that built my trust in him with every passing moment. From the smallest little things to the sale of my mother’s car he had a plan for everything and immediately took charge of things.
The stress of the whole situation caused me to take ill and throughout my illness Bob kept the entire process moving forward. Within a few short weeks he had transformed mother’s house back into an organized functional home in preparation of holding an estate sale. His crew conducted a very successful three day sale (including the sale of the car, and once the sale was concluded, he brought in an associate from a charitable organization called Angels Acts of Kindness. For the next two days Angels worked non-stop putting together an inventory and packing up everything that did not sell. Before I knew it mother’s house was completely emptied, swept, and ready for sale.
The net proceeds from the sale were well beyond my own expectations and the added benefits of the charitable donations afforded me the opportunity to offset some of the taxable liability of the estate.
Bob, his crew, and his angels were all very respectful in everything they did and I would highly recommend them to anyone I know. Thank you all so much for helping me to survive this traumatic time in my life. My very best to all of you.
